As the MAT2 Company Outreach Manager, Brent works with MAT2 Apprenticeship Network companies to on-board, educate, and support the apprenticeship training, management, and communication process. His knowledge of various organizational systems, geographic trends, and industry insights, allows Brent to identify and consult with businesses interested in learning more about the MAT2 Apprenticeship Network and how they may benefit from more structured training systems to address workforce development challenges. Prior to MAT2, Brent served in the United States Air Force as a linguist and aerial support operator. Brent later studied International Studies at DePaul University, where his focus was on social trends and economic policy which he believes brings an in-depth understanding of the current social and economic climate in the Midwest.
